Airbus’ updated branding combines the original ball-shaped logo with themodernised typeface of its EADS corporate parent company. This marks the firstupdating of Airbus’ logo since the company’s creation in 1969,
Many features of the previous logo have been retained, such as the iconicball and the deep blue that characterize Airbus with over 90 per cent awarenessamong the travelling public. The ball-shaped logo is composed of two sets ofthree curves that join at an imaginary horizon line. This stands for theunification of Airbus’ founding companies to create what has become one of theworld’s top providers of commercial and military aircrafts.
Presently, we decorate Airbus trade show models withits brand new logo in our company. See below A350-900 and A380 scale 1/20°videos. That is to say nearly 3.3m long for the first and 3.6m for the secondwith a 4-meter wingspan. Notice the details : light positioning, inside videoscreens and lights!
