Last year, the
website Airliners has been bought up by the parent company Graphideco. The
company has as well take over its branch Air deco, dedicated to Airbus colors
models. Intermediaries are less numerous and production is now reorganised. These
changes permitted some economy of scale. Today, we make you benefit from these
changes. Prices are lowered of 20%. Do not hesitate!
GRAPHIDECO offers a large range of aircraft models from 1:200 scale, called "snapfit" at a low price, to the highest quality ATR, AIRBUS and aircraft models 1:50 scale, and unique models such as TAILS.

Wings Air introduces First ATR 72-500s to Indonesia
Last January 6th, Wings Air, a regional subsidiary of Lion Air, took delivery of its first ATR 72-500. This event follows the signature, last year, of a contract for the purchase of 15 aircrafts. A ceremony took place in Manado, a symbol, as it is a growing tourism destination, a high potential for the airline.
Lion Air is the Indonesia’s largest private carrier. Wings Air is the sister company of Lion Air and was established in 2002. Wings Air predominately operates regional and rural routes and blended in to Lion Air’s network as a feeder airline.
Thanks to this purchase, the Indonesian company will consolidate its leading position in its domestic fast growing market. It will develop routes to the main hubs and expand its network to remote areas of the country, which where not benefiting from regular airline connectivity until now.
The new planes will also replace routes currently operated with MD 80 and increase frequencies on existing routes operated with Lion Air B-737-900ER.
The remaining ATR 72-500s will be progressively introduced in 2010 and 2011. |
